Water notice (Water Shut Off Sept 30 from approx 11 am to 2 pm

Emergency Water Procedures

The Association is not responsible for a water pipe break or leaks within your unit. If you are going on vacation, make sure you shut your water off, or turn your water valve on your water heater off, and set the gas to "vacation" setting. You should also ask a neighbor to keep an eye on your unit. If your neighbor notices water coming from your unit, and you are not home, they can simply "shut off the water" at the valve located next to the water meter on the unit. It is not the Associations responsibility to send someone to shut off the water for your individual unit unless it is related to a "common area" break.

Should the Association dispatch a Plumber and it is determined that it is not a common area issue but an individual homeowner issue, the homeowner will be required to reimburse the Association for any repairs made by the Plumber.

The Association is responsible for common area water line breaks. We have put effective procedures in place to address these issues:

1. Contact the Management Emergency number (on refrigerator magnet you were provided). Do not call the regular number, call the emergency number.

2. Based on the information provided a decision will be made whether to send a Plumber to address the issue.

Homeowners are asked to cooperate with our plumbers in providing the most effective service and support during an emergency. Homeowners who need "your" support today, may be the homeowners that provide you support in the future.
