Pool

The pool deck has been resurfaced, the bathrooms have been remodeled, equipment has been updated, and the pool will be heated, which should make for an enjoyable time at the pool. Please do not bring glass bottles or alcoholic beverages to the pool, please do not bring your pets to the pool, and please make sure there is an adult there to supervise any children. Pool Hours are posted at the Pool. The Pool also has 24 hour a day Pool Surveillance Cameras to insure compliance of all rules and regs as well as vandalism issues. Appropriate Notices will be posted at the pool entrance, and by using your card key for entrance to pool you are acknowleging and accepting all responsibility related to any potential Covid issue and waiving any and all responsibility or liability as it relates to the Chateau Park HOA.

CANWOOD CORRIDOR

If you live on Canwood, we continue to have problems with Abandoned furniture and trash including bottles, fast food etc being thrown on Association property and the Canwood Freeway corridor. This costs everyone in Chateau Park $$$, and hurts property values. If you see someone dumping furniture, or throwing trash, be a good neighbor and let us know who or whom it is. These folks disrespect all of us with their actions.

RAIN GUTTERS/ROOFS
Many homes in our neighborhood have a build up of pine needle and leaf debris on the roofs and in the gutters. This material can lead to gutters failing during the rainy season and result in leaks inside the homes. Damage can occur to not only your home, but your neighbor's as well. In addition, the leaf and pine needle debris poses a risk during fire season as well. This material is combustible and is susceptible to ignition from flying embers during a wildfire. If this material were to ignite, it can spread flames to the wood decking under the roof tiles and start a structure fire. To better protect your home and your neighbors, it is highly recommended that the roof and gutters be cleared of any combustible material. Now is the time to act, as we are coming into Santa Ana wind and fire season. We were lucky last year, let's be better prepared this year. LANDSCAPING

Showscapes and Treesacpes are installing drip systems in all medians throughout complex to save water and make sure your cars are not hit with recycled water. They are continuing the planting process and when completed the plants are installed to cover all areas, provide nice colors, and save water. Tree maintenance is on going. Canwood corridor is being enhanced. If you have a suggestion or concern email management.



MAIL BOXES

We will start installing fantastic new security mailboxes which will have secure inbound and outbound slots for letters and packages. They will also enhance the look of the cul de sacs and give a the complex an updated look. Sprinklers are also being adjusted throughout the complex to not hit the mailbox area.

Equipment has been replaced, and necessary maintenance performed.
Replacement of Pool Heater has been completed, and heating will commence on Memorial Day


We have experienced vandalism at the pool. When bathrooms are vandalized, and pool furniture stolen- It effects everyone that uses the pool. Please do not leave bathroom doors or gates open. Please do not throw trash over the fence. Whomever stole the umbrella, please return it- no questions asked. If we find out who it is and it is a resident of Chateau Park, it will cost you a $5,000 Vandalism fine. We have enforced this fine in the past and it stood up in court! Please remember we can now track everyone entering and leaving the pool area. Please review Pool and Spa Rules



TENNIS COURTS

Tennis courts are for the use of Chateau Park Residents and their guests. Use of courts for commercial purposes is prohibited. New lights are being replaced as needed and we are testing LED lights to see if they bother residents living near the tennis courts Please read Tennis Court Rules

POOL FURNITURE


We have new pool furniture at the Pool. We are asking all homeowners who use the pool to help prevent the vandalism that destroyed our previous pool furniture. It is expensive to replace, and it is not fair that a few vandals destroy the enjoyment of many.


STREET LIGHTS

IF YOU SEE A STREET LIGHT OUT, PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT SOMEONE ELSE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT. PLEASE WRITE DOWN THE NUMBER ON THE STREET LIGHT (METAL STRIP), AND CLICK HERE TO REPORT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON FOR REPAIR.

PARKING ENFORCEMENT

WE ARE GOING TO TOW EVERY CAR PARKED IN FRONT OF GARAGES UNATTENDED. WE HAVE BEEN WARNING HOMEOWNERS OVER AND OVER AGAIN THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS NOT TO PARK THEIR CARS IN FRONT OF THEIR GARAGES UNATTENDED. IT IS A FIRE LANE. IT SHOWS DISRESPECT FOR THE COMMUNITY AS WELL AS YOUR NEIGHBORS AND YOURSELF. THESE ARE FIRE LANES. DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF GARAGES LEAVING YOUR CAR UNATTENDED.

The Board is aggressively enforcing fines.


If any Resident or Guest is caught doing Vandalism in the complex a $5,000 "Association" fine and criminal prosecution is authorized. click here for more details. Anyone caught in the pool area after hours will be criminally prosecuted for trespassing.

Christmas Tree Lights

You can start hanging Christmas/Hannukah Lights after Thanksgiving, and they should be removed by January 15.

Awnings

If your awning are shredded and not maintained, we will start fining you for every month you do not fix them.

Utility Doors

If your Utility Doors are not maintained, we are going to fine you for every month they are not repaired

Trash Cans

If you leave them out, we will fine you, if that does not work, we will have them removed and you can pay to have them returned.

Agoura Hills City Ordinance requires all garages to have room to park at least one (1) vehicle in the garage.  If you are using your garage for storage and cannot park a car in your garage you are violating a city ordinance.
