NOTICE OF MEETING
May 21, 2012 AT 5:00 P.M.

The Board Meets the 3rd week of every other month - 5:00 P.M. at the McDonalds Community Meeting Room (McDonalds is located at Canwood and Kanan right near our complex). All Voting Members of The Association are Welcome to Attend. The Homeowner “open forum” will take place at 6 P.M.

PARKING ENFORCEMENT



OWNERS ARE ALLOWED TO PARK IN GUEST PARKING!!! OWNERS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ALLOWED TO PARK IN GUEST PARKING!!! NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO PARK THEIR VEHICLES IN FIRELANES.
If you are not using your garage to park vehicles, do not park in guest parking. Some residents have opted to use their garages for storage and are also parking their vehicles in guest parking. This is not fair to owners that use their garages to park their vehicles, and is a violation of our rules and regulations as well as City Ordinance.

MANY HOMEOWNERS EXPRESSED A CONCERN TO THE ASSOCIATION THAT THEY WANT TO BE ABLE TO PARK IN GUEST PARKING, AND IT SHOULD BE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS. THIS POLICY HAS NOT CHANGED!!!! WE ARE STRICTLY TALKING ABOUT FOLKS THAT ARE USING THEIR GARAGES FOR STORAGE, AND ALSO WANT TO USE GUEST PARKING TO PARK THEIR CARS. THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE. If everyone were using their garages for storage, this would not be an issue, but such is not the case.

WE HAVE ABOUT HALF THE ASSOCIATION THAT WANTS PARKING REGS ENFORCED, AND HALF THAT DO NOT. WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU! MAJORITY RULES.
EMAIL US AND LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. The Board only implements policies based on complaints, and has a "live and let live" policy.



Please be sure to read and follow the parking rules located on this website.
 
Should there be problems at the pool this summer, the Board will consider additional services to rectify those problems.
 
As always, if you see suspicious behavior, please contact the police or if there is an immediate danger, call 911.

If you have something you would like to put on the Agenda email our manager- Cheryl Crandall- goldcoastcc@aol.com. It is your Association so come to the meetings and get involved. All Homeowners have the opportunity to say what is on their mind (3 minute time limit), and then stay for the meeting to listen to what the Board is doing.  Due to  time constraints, the board asks that homeowners only bring to the boards attention issues not being addressed by management and asks all homeowners to contact management first.  All Homeowner issues will be noted at the meeting and Management will respond in writing.

before you change your windows, doors, skylights, want to access your roof for any reason, or anything else. You need to let us know. Simply fill out the Arch request and email it to us. When in doubt ask first, and save yourself alot of time and effort.

ANYONE STORING THEIR VEHICLE IN GUEST PARKING WILL BE TOWED!

IF YOU ARE NOT PARKING VEHICLES IN YOUR GARAGE, DO NOT PARK IN GUEST PARKING.

VANDALISM
THE BOARD HAS VOTED TO AGGRESSIVELY ENFORCE THE $5,000 VANDALISM FINE AGAINST ANY HOMEOWNERS WHOSE RESIDENTS OR GUESTS VANDALIZE AASSOCIATION PROPERTY.

THE BOARD ALSO AUTHORIZED THE ARREST AND PROSECUTION FOR TRESPASSING OF ANYONE IN THE POOL AREA AFTER POSTED POOL HOURS.

Agoura Hills City Ordinance requires all garages to have room to park at least one (1) vehicle in the garage.  If you are using your garage for storage and cannot park a car in your garage you are violating a city ordinance.

MONTHLY DUES

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING YOUR MONTHLY DUES WHETHER YOU RECEIVE A COURTESY INVOICE OR NOT. THE DUES ARE $205 PER MONTH PAYABLE TO CHATEAU PARK HOA.  EACH HOMEOWNER HAS RECEIVED A PAYMENT BOOK AND ENVELOPES AS A COURTESY.  IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A COUPON BOOK AND ENVELOPES PLEASE CONTACT MANAGEMENT, AND MAIL PAYMENT TO::

Dues are payable the first of every month and a late charge applies for all dues received after the 16th of each month, so you have plenty of time to pay your dues.
