Effective July 1, 2011, every single family home, condo or townhome property is required to have an approved carbon monoxide detector installed.  If your home is ALL electric AND the garage is NOT attached, then your property is exempt.  Multi-residential properties are required to comply  by January 1, 2013.

For your convenience, I have attached my RE/MAX Legal Corner brochure to provide you greater details regarding this new state law.

Happy New Year everyone. I had JT Harris install two (2) Skylights for me. They did a great job. The total coast was $800. They were hundreds of dollars less than comprable bids.

Skylight Replacement

FYI If anyone needs their skylights replaced, we can get a better rate for at least two units being done. These prices being quoted are for the skylights in phase 1, 2 and I believe 3 for the tri-level units.
If anyone is thinking or replacing their skylights. Association members
will save $100/skylight if they can do at least 2 units at a time. -------------------- Hi Mr. Mason, We would be able to replace these skylights for $300.00/skylight, for 4 or more skylights. If you would like to replace less than 4 skylights, the price will be $400.00/skylight.
This price includes:
Remove and dispose of existing skylights Clean and seal all existing curbed flashing, saddle, tile pan and top flashing Install weatherstripping on new skylight Install new skylight with screws and custom brackets (clean as needed) You may choose the tint of the skylight (white, bronze or clear) We will also provide a free roof inspection to the unit we are working on.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
I look forward to doing business with you.
Thank you,

Joe Harris J.T. Harris Inc. 805-375-1157

Roofing and Skylights

For those of Chateau Park units needing repair and/or replacements of roofs and skylights, I highly recommend that you contact Scott at Shelter Roofing; 805.523.2461.
You will find Scott to be knowledgeable, responsible and reliable.  He works alongside with his crew, and together they accomplish the job with no delays (but for rain) and when complete, they clean up so well one would have to look very hard to see that they were there.
I also recommend that those needing skylight replacement consider upgrading to a dual pane model and remember to look for the "energy efficiency" label.  The improvement in noise reduction and temperature insulation is most noticeable.
